Intrinsa Introduction

Intrinsa patches are for women with a low sex drive, usually following the menopause or a hysterectomy (removal of the uterus). The patches are invisible and are typically worn for three to four days. In studies 70% of women experienced more satisfying sex whilst using Intrinsa. Intrinsa is approved by the European Medicines Agency and is the only approved treatment for women with a low sex drive.

Intrinsa patches work by releasing testosterone through the skin into the bloodstream. The patches are invisible and are applied just above the navel and are changed twice a week. Approved by the European Medicines Agency, Intrinsa patches need to be worn over a period of weeks or months to have the best effect.
